Our client had noticed damp patches in bedrooms around the chinmey stack. We combined the repair of the chimney with full Fascia, Soffit and Guttering replacement and finished with a full external redecoration of the property including mortar and render repairs. The chimney was suffering from cracks in the crown, loose chimney pots, spored bricks and bad mortar joints. However all the leadwork was in good order and required no further action. Once fully repaired the complete stack was coated in 5 coats of brick sealer.
