This Thursday we rode from Dawlish to Haldon and back. We cycled along Ashcombe and up into Chudleigh where we then rode along Teign Valley and past Doddiscombsleigh before arriving on Haldon.
We then rode down Clapham Hill, along to Kenn/Kennford before taking the scenic route back via Powderham Castle. This weeks pub stop was at the Ship Inn in Cockwood for a drink and some much needed food in the form of a lovely pie and pint which we highly recommend. Riding this week were the usual suspects of Neil, Craig, Rob, Andy & Dave who was taking the photo.

Some of us did manage a cheeky Tuesday evening ride to the Quay in Exeter along the lanes from Dawlish through Ashcombe and then coming out in Exminster, to follow the cycle track along the canal and to the Quay for a drink and a rest in the sun.

On the way back we stopped quickly along the path at Turf Lock to take a picture of the sail boats, which weren’t going very fast due to the lack of wind which luckily for us isn’t a problem. The Tuesday riders were Simon, Dave, Andy & Craig who was taking the photo.

If anyone likes the sound of getting out of the house once a week or even to try something different then feel free to contact us and join in.
